EPCO Organisation
The
EPCO organisation commenced operation in 1961 as an Australian
owned company concentrating its activities solely on the
design of systems and equipment for the treatment of municipal
and industrial sewage and other biological waste waters.
EPCO
Australia is the trading arm of the Australian owned
company Matola Pty Ltd, carrying on the original EPCO
Australia philosophy.
In addition to our well known "in house"
designed equipment, the company has been and continues
to expand its product range to provide Clients with the
latest available technology
in sewage and wastewater treatment.
For
the benefit of you, our prospective Client, we set out

Equipment
The
company has extensive "in house" design experience
and equipment in such areas as:

Sewage Plants including auxiliary processes, tertiary
filtration, sludge handling and nutrient removal.

for circular and rectangular tanks.

Staff
The
principal engineering staff of EPCO Australia have formal
tertiary engineering qualifications and extensive waste
water treatment process and equipment design experience.
The
company's Managing Director Mr G. W. Cobbin, has held
managerial posts within the EPCO organisation since 1972
and has over 35 years experience in the water and waste
water treatment equipment contracting industry.
Consultants
The
company utilises outside expertise from a select group
of consultants in process engineering, civil engineering,
architecture, noise reduction science and other disciplines,
to assist when needed.
All
consultants retained by us have wide experience and acknowledged
reputations in their respective fields.

Australia is a sustaining member of the Australian Water
Association (AWA) and a member of Commerce Queensland.
Facilities
The
Company head office is in Brisbane, Australia and includes
a fully equipped workshop and store.
Our
engineering and administration functions rely heavily
on digital office integration through the use of design,
quality and office software systems.

Assurance
MATOLA
Pty LTD operates its design and manufacturing activities
under a Quality Assurance system complying with the requirements
of International Standards Organisation (ISO) standard
ISO 9001.
Our
QA system has received third party accreditation from
Benchmark Certification.

as Federal, State and Local bodies, statutory corporations,
utilities, oil companies, miners, food, textile and leather
producers, hotels, hospitals and tourist developments,
to name just a few.
Markets
The
company's principal activities are centred in Australia,
however EPCO Australia also carries out a considerable
portion of its business in offshore markets.
In
the offshore areas in which it operates, the company is
represented by organisations chosen for their level of
technical expertise, financial stability, service and
acceptance in the business communities of their respective
countries.
