Applications - DAF

The dissolved air flotation  (DAF) process is used for separating solids from the liquid stream. The DAF system is particularly suited to the removal of fats and greases as occur in abattoirs. It is also used in dewatering of waste sludge in sewage plants.

To be able to make an equipment recommendation best suited to your site's requirements, we need the following data:

  • Number of people to be served
  • Type of community i.e. mining camp or small town
  • Effluent quality required by statutory authority
  • Location of the site.

Examples and further information are shown in section entitled Dissolved Air Flotation
