Applications - Aeration

Aeration is the heart and soul of the majority of waste water treatment plants.

The introduction of oxygen into the waste water stream can be achieved by either splashing the surface of the aeration tank using a mechanical aerator or via compressed air from underwater diffusers.

There are several types of mechanical aerators. They can either be fixed to a stationary platform or be mounted on a floating platform or integral floatation collar.

Diffused air aeration may be simply divided into coarse bubble or fine bubble.

To be able to make an equipment recommendation best suited to your site's requirements, we need the following data:
The dimensions of your tank or pond The amount of aeration required Source of wastewater Availability of electrical power
Examples and further information are shown in section entitled Aeration
